Clients of the Toronto Drug Treatment Court (TDTC) program were treated to a festive meal on December 21th at the annual client holiday feast. This year, clients and staff enjoyed a turkey dinner with all the fixings, and a special dish of jerk chicken served up on the side!
TDTC staff serving up delicious food (l-r) Robin Cuff, Manager; Tanya Connors, Court Liaison; Linda Cartain, therapist; and Linda Wagner, Therapist.
June 10, 2011 was a sad day for the Toronto Drug Treatment Court. Our founder and presiding Judge, Justice Paul Bentley passed away.
Beginning in 1998 in Toronto, Justice Bentley forged the way for the development of Drug Treatment Court Programs in Canada. Through the years, he has been sought out as a leader, consultant and teacher of the principles and methods of Drug Treatment Courts throughout the world. He never lost sight of his vision to provide hope, opportunity and a “better way” for our clients.
