The Toronto Drug Treatment Court supports open dialogue with various stakeholders.
The Program engages a Community Advisory Committee, CAC, to provide a forum for communicating with and receiving advice from associated community groups. Membership is drawn from various sectors including criminal justice, housing, addictions treatment, law enforcement, social services and supports, public health, legal and service users.
Information and training sessions are provided across sectors, including regular training sessions with the Toronto Police Serivces.
Staff and alumni participate in outreach activities to increase awareness for potential participants.
Other Drug Treatment Courts
In an effort to help other jurisdictions start their own Drug Treatment Court programs, the TDTC offers presentations and training workshops delivered by TDTC staff.
